Thanksgiving 2018

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends - therefore we will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd.


Enjoy this special time of year and we will see you back in class on Monday, November 26th.

To ensure that you don't over do things over Thanksgiving, here are some points to think about...


1. Plan ahead! Know what is on the menu, decide ahead of time what you are going to eat and what you definitely don't want on your plate.


2. Portion control is key! You might want a bit of everything, and that's ok, but make sure you are putting a small amount of each item on your plate. Limit yourself to one plate in the portions you would have on a normal day.


3. Let's face it, it is JUST FOOD! You eat it every day, so why go crazy just because it is Thanksgiving? Be sensible. Make good choice. Think about how you will feel afterwards....is it worth it?


4. Have fun! It is just one day, so if you end up going off plan it will be ok!
