Today’s Mindful Message is to be creative
Find a creative outlet that speaks to your soul. Spend 20 minutes doing or researching what you love. It could be anything, photography, art, woodworking, dancing, gardening, etc.
Creativity gives you the opportunity to express yourself and get into your happy zone. When you are in the zone, you tend to feel a sense of freedom come over you and you may even lose track of time. That's when you know you are in the zone. Being creative also makes you a better problem solver. It reduces stress and anxiety so it's very important to set aside some time to allow your creative juices to flow.
When you take time to feed your creative spirit, you allow your inspiration and positive energies to run through your body. Remember that life if not a race, stopping and enjoying a moment each and every day can assist in slowing time down and creating memories.
